Our story

Every child deserves the chance to go above and beyond.

Since 2020, we've removed barriers and created experiences that help young people discover their potential, build confidence, and envision a brighter future.

Above & Beyond for Change was founded on a simple belief: every child deserves opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed — regardless of their circumstances. What began as a desire to support students and families in our local community has grown into a network of programs, partnerships, volunteers, and community advocates working together to create meaningful change.

Many students face challenges that extend beyond the classroom. Limited access to enrichment, mentors, activities, food, and life experiences can impact a child's ability to thrive. We believe that exposure creates opportunity — so we connect students with mentors, educational enrichment, athletics, cultural experiences, family support, and community resources that inspire them to dream bigger and achieve more.

We don't simply provide programs — we create opportunities. Whether it's a student's first karate class, a college visit, a STEM competition, a mentoring relationship, a holiday celebration, or food during a difficult season, our goal is to provide experiences that have a lasting impact.
